Le Phénix is back… The emblematic and historic hotel in Vieux Lyon reopens its doors with a 4th star! Two years after their acquisition, Les Aubergistes Lyonnais carried out an architectural revolution of the establishment with a budget of more than one million euros. Entirely renovated, a soothing atmosphere with vintage inspirations now awaits Lyonnais and travelers looking for a warm pied-à-terre to recharge their batteries in the heart of the capital of Gaul.
In charge of a day of study, residential seminars, team building, cocktails, afterworks on the terrace, birthdays, games? Whatever your project, the Phenix is adapted!
Your professional events… like nowhere else.
The hotel Le Phénix has managed to preserve its historical assets while modernizing itself. The old Florentine hotel combines tradition and modernity in the heart of the Saint-Paul district in Old Lyon, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Many of you are looking for new and atypical spaces for your teams: we are convinced that the period fireplaces and woodwork, the mullioned windows, the vaulted lounges and the Art Deco glass windows will be the new features straight from the 16th century that you will want to discover!
The bar and the reception are the backbone of the Phoenix. The first one offers a unique panorama on the Saône, the second one is the pathway between a natural spring emanating from the street to the patio, a real glass jewel.
With 40 elegant and warm rooms (all air-conditioned and soundproofed), the hotel Le Phénix offers two options: a breathtaking view of the Saône or a well-deserved rest on the courtyard side.
Everything has been carefully thought out to help you get away from it all… but also to work.

New in September 2022: the Phoenix counter
Based on fresh and seasonal products, the menu evolves according to the desires and inspirations of Camille, the restaurant’s chef. For lunch, it is based on a classic formula of starter, main course and dessert and is composed of dishes to share in the evening.
Thank you to the Aubergistes Lyonnais for offering new MICE opportunities in the Capital of the Gones! All the team of Séminaires Business Events wishes a wonderful reopening of the Phenix and resplendent seminars to the next companies who will stay there.
About the Aubergistes Lyonnais
Born 1 year ago under the impetus of Loïc Renart, Les Aubergistes Lyonnais now includes 3 hotels and 2 restaurants conceived as real local places of life with an asserted identity: the hotels Le Globe & Cecil, le Simplon and le Phénix, le Comptoir Cecil and le Comptoir Phénix.
A state of mind, a collection, places with a simple but welcoming beauty, generous tables, fine gastronomes, a warm team: this independent group redefines the current contours of the hotel industry by placing the human element, local and environmental development and quality of service at the center of its concerns. This environmental approach is a collective project, to which each employee and visitor are made aware. Electric car terminals are available for them.
The Hotel du Simplon has also established a partnership with Les Petites Cantines: a network of neighborhood canteens, open to all, whose objective is to develop local ties through the preparation and sharing of meals.
